By statue the Marshall County Sheriff's Office is required to register sex offenders intended to live within Marshall County. Offenders can register by going to the Marshall County Jail located at 2369  Jessup Avenue (old County Home). Registrations can be done at the Jail Monday thru Friday 8:00 a.m. until 11:00 p.m.  Please call the Jail at (641) 754-6380 and ask for Laura or Mary for registration and verification questions.

If you know of offenders out of compliance or not living at the stated address, please contact the office so the proper actions can be taken.  Information made available on this web site is for your information and protection. Please do not take matters into your own hands, but rather contact your local law enforcement office.

REGISTRATION REQUIREMENTS:

Register with the Sheriff's Office initially upon moving to Marshall County and then annually within the month of rgistration.

An annual verification must be made with an updated photo.

Offenders are prohibited from living within 2,000 feet of a school or daycare in Marshall County.  Some towns have local restrictions, please contact the office for those provisions. 

An annual registration fee of $10.00 must be paid in cash at time of registration.
