Learn how to wood burn!

Pyrography, also known as the art of wood burning will be our final installment of the Naturally Artistic Series. Pyrography literally means, “Writing with fire” and is a fun way to enhance the natural beauty of wood.  Join naturalist Emily Herring on November 1 from 6:00 to 8:30 p.m. as she introduces participants to the basics of wood burning and provides participants the opportunity to take home their own piece of art. Participants will choose their wood burning project when registering, options include: birch bark wall decoration, drink coasters or wood jewelry. Participants must pre-register by calling 641-752-5490 and pay the program fee of $15.00 before October 20.
