Back by popular demand Ames artist Rhonda Scott will help you discover the endless possibilities of metal clay! Learn to create beautiful fine silver jewelry without traditional metalsmithing techniques – no soldering, jewelry saws or filing. Create a pendant or stunning pair of earrings that capture the beauty of nature. No prior experience is needed and must be 16 years of age or older to participate. Participants must pre-register and pay registration fee before October 12 at 4:00 at the Grimes Farm and Conservation Center to reserve limited spots. There are two sessions to this class, must attend both. The second session is on Thursday, November 1 from 6:30 – 7:30 pm.
