Bees on honeycombWhen a person talks about bees and pollinating, we think about Honey Bees.  However in Iowa there are many types of native bees that are responsible for pollination, including the Mason Bee. On August 7 from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. come learn a little bit about the native bees of Iowa and build a bee house made for these native pollinators.  Participants must pre-register by calling 641-752-5490 and pay the program fee of $15.00 by July 20 at 4:00 p.m. Space is limited.
