APPLE GRAFTING.jpgWanting to add some apple trees to your yard?  ISU Extension Forester Jesse Randall will introduce  participants to apple grafting. Apple grafting is the process of cloning apple trees to duplicate trees that produce high quality and quantity of apples. Participants will learn common apple varieties and why they are chosen for grafting.  He will also explaining the process of grafting and different ways of grafting. This is a hands on program and each participant will graft five apple trees to take home and plant.  Participants must pre-register by calling 641-752-5490 and pay the program fee of $20.00 before the registration deadline of March 6 to reserve limited spots.
