Head out to the Grimes Farm on May 24th from 6:30 until 8:00 p.m. for an evening a celebration, slithering snakes and a sweet treat.  The evening will start with the dedication of the Leonard Grimes Amphitheater, followed by an opportunity to meet Don, the “Snake Man” Becker and his 10 foot long python Mukluk. Don, a herpetological educator (study of snakes, turtles & reptiles) will introduce you to the world of snakes and teach about the importance of native reptiles in Iowa.  This program is HANDS-ON so don’t forget your camera!  The night will conclude with a sweet treat for refreshment.  If you have any questions feel free to contact Marshall County Conservation at 641-752-5490.
