Ron Goecke

Ron is in his third term as a Marshall County Supervisor. He came into office in January of 1999 and is currently serving as Chairman of the Board. His current term will end December of 2010.

Ron is a life long Marshall County resident. He and his wife Mary have three children and eight grandchildren. Ron has farmed in West Marshall County since 1962. He is an active member of church and is active in mission and local service organizations.

Denny Grabenbauer

Denny has been a Marshall County Supervior since January 2009 and is currently serving as Vice Chairman. Denny and his wife Barb enjoy spending time with their children, grandchildren and two daschunds.

After 23 years of announcing races at the Marshalltown Speedway, Denny has decided to retire from announcing to concentrate more on county affairs. He has enjoyed the early part of his political career and looks forward to meeting new challenges. His current term will end December 2012.

Pat Brooks

Pat has been a Marshall County Supervisor since January of 2007.

He graduated from Grinnell High School in 1961, and the University of Northern Iowa in 1966. Following two years of teaching, he became a graduate of the University of Iowa Law School and practiced law for 34 years in Marshalltown.

His 25 years of experience in private practice, and service as both assistant and city attorney in Marshalltown, have greatly contributed to sharpening his interest in governmental issues. These past experiences have been a great help to him and he continues to enjoy the opportunity to serve. His current term will end December of 2010.

Lisa Gassman

Lisa has been the Administrative Assistant to the Board of Supervisors for the past 2 1/2 years, but a Marshall County employee for over 3 years.

Lisa has lived in Marshalltown since 1979 following a family move. Before joining the County, she practiced as a Dental Hygienist for 15 years, and has been a morning fitness instructor at the local Community Y for the past 11 years.

Lisa has two children. Her daughter Jessica lives and works in Ames and her son Vince is a sophomore at MHS. Her interest/hobbies are; spending time with family and friends at Lake Ponderosa and enjoying the outdoors.
